xIsco Single-candle Wall Sconces – Pair

Isco light fixtures are desired for their intricate aluminum castings, combining both art deco and art nouveau designs. This pair still has its original hand painted finish, pale touches of pink and green on a bare aluminum canvas.  Aluminum was used for its strength, its ability to replicate delicate designs without breaking.   Instead of disguising the bare gray metal with paint, they featured it, using it as a background for a limited use of accent colors in pale tones.    They would be especially lovely against a white wall or pastel colors

New wiring, plain paper candle covers and new finials have been added.  The pull chain switches are still in good working condition.    Gone to Ohio.
