Midwest Soleure 5-light Bronze Slip Shade Chandelier

We think Midwest Manufacturing Company, Kansas City, Kansas, of all the lighting companies of their era, had the most innovative designs, not relying on ideas used in their other series or that of other manufacturers.  The Soleure fixtures are probably their best, aged bronze deeply carved into intricate patterns, for the discriminating buyer.

We take our pictures in sunlight so you may notice some annoying gray streaks here and there on the fixture which we could not remove. But they do not exist in reality as the original bronze is absolutely perfect, dark, smooth and gorgeous with a low luster.

The golden shades emerge from their chocolate base with no chips or cracks. They are subject to scratching as they are painted on the exterior of the shade. Two of the shades do have a little scratching on one side but not a problem for presentation as it is too light to affect the even distribution of light. This is just a lovely chandelier, justifiably expensive for its quality, beauty and great condition. Built to last with great style, a gift to hand down to your grandchildren..

Measurements are 27″ high x 21″ wide. Chain can be added. Fixture is rewired with appropriate single strand silk wire. Sixty-watt bulbs or LED’s are recommended.
