Even if you are into French crystals, you can’t deny the beauty of these ruggedly styled sconces. Hopefully our pictures show the fine execution of design, the rope, leaf and hammered details, the crenelated bobeches, all typical of the Romantic Revival period in American lighting. All of this is done in heavy cast brass with an applied dark patina used to enhance the heavily carved design while still allowing the beautiful polished brass to shine through. Gorgeous.
Made in the USA, c 1920’s, the condition is excellent, rewired with new switches, candle covers and finials. Price is for each pair of sconces. FB24
