xAntique Cast Iron and Brass Double Candle Wall Sconces

A wonderful and impressive pair of light fixtures from a time when apparently people weren’t afraid of a little color. And the colors are great, a combination of dark turquoise, gold, black and a touch of red. All in wonderful condition (for their age). The backs are cast iron and the arms are either cast or wrought iron. The leaf decorations are cast brass. Great patina, real character. The original pull chains are long gone, new sockets are installed and wired. Original candle covers are in pretty good shape and are included although you may have new substitutes if desired.

Decorative but not dainty. Excellent choice for a medium to large room in an old house restoration (around 1910), or as a counterpoint in an otherwise strictly modern interior design. Measurements are without light bulbs as shown (included).  Price is for condition, rarity and antiquity.  Gone to California.
