Rustic elegance describes this light fixture, perfect for the country home. We like this fixture for its classic styling, ornate and rather heavy cast brass (not spelter) hanger which blends beautifully with the deeply embossed shade that has old world swags and panels. Note the novel little flame finial just above the holder. The shade is a soft white emitting a soft light.
The fixture has little sheen and is rough to the touch. The design on the canopy was originally highlighted by polishing and some of that remains. The fixture is as beautiful as the shade. If this is your style, you will not be disappointed.
Condition is original aged brass and glass with no chips, cracks, dents, etc.
Measuring at 21″ x 9″, the fixture is suitable for 8-foot ceilings but can be lengthened at no charge. It will be professionally rewired with attachment hardware. MBP
