xAntique Steuben Acid Cutback Pendant

Classically beautiful design in the style of Steuben, effected by using acid to cut back a layer of glass, revealing the design which was protected by wax. What remains is a milk glass shade under a creamy glass layer that has a soft pearl like luster. The shade hangs beautifully from a simple brass fixture of the same era, c. 1915. The fixture is rewired with vintage style silk covered wire. No dents, cracks or repairs, just heavy gauge pressed brass with original patina.
Shade is 8 1/2″ wide, fixture hangs 22″ as shown, can be lengthened, no charge.
Just simply beautiful. It’s Steuben.  Gone to New York.
