Virden Bronze Five-light Consolidated Glass Slip Shade Chandelier

Here is an unusual chandelier by J. C. Virden from their Kenilworth line, a top-of-the-line fixture. They cleverly provide a down light without the necessity of a bottom shade so that someone can hang this fixture without help. They accomplish this with five long slip shades, the top part amber and bottom part uncolored to provide clear light for dining or reading.
A stylized leaf design is used in various ways throughout, including the slip shades.
