Elegant Neoclassical Nickel and Brass 4-Candle Chandelier

For the traditional home.  This vintage all brass pan-style light fixture is extraordinary in both design and quality. The nickel plating on the brass has the soft look of pewter. There is extraordinary attention to detail. It is rare to see any attention paid to the sliding pipe that comes out of the canopy which in this case is nickel plated and reeded, made especially for this chandelier and still in excellent condition. Original chain is nickel plated.  Tassels still drip from the bottom of each candle holder. The arms reach unusually high towards the ceiling and are intricately designed in contrast with the simplicity of the rest, as is the nickel plating revealing the brass.

From the second or third decade of the last century but  in such great condition, it could be used in a modern setting today. Professionally rewired with period appropriate cloth wire and pristine white paper candle covers.   No dents or splits.  VBP
