This beautiful all brass bare-bulb fixture starts with a heavy gauge pressed brass pan having a hand wrought hammered appearance. The brass has a high zinc content, making it stronger and paler than usual. The cast metal arches that scroll down from the pan appear to be iron but once again are actually brass, darkened to contrast with the pale gold of the pan. This 3-light fixture is from Halcolite’s Canterbury line, 1920’s, pressed and cast brass. The bobeches that surround the light bulbs are accented with gold enameling.
Condition is very good to excellent, professionally rewired with attachment hardware included.
