Handel Style Glass Ball Parrot Pendant

Pretty much like our crackle glass parrot pendant, here is another fixture sometimes attributed to Handel.  Handel employed artists who depicted colorful,  somewhat macabre, parrots on the inside of lamp shades and ball pendants.  Here we have the use of stencils on the outside of a shade, smooth, perfect,  and perhaps suitable for a modern home.  It is suspended from its original antique pressed brass fixture.   The fixture is complete, old patina untouched.  The fixture is now a  dull old brass with hints of gilding from a former life.

If you can afford it, you might go with an original Handel, but these rare old restrikes, repros , have gained some status as a lovely addition to an antique or an eclectic decorating scheme.

The globe and the fixture are in excellent condition, no cracks, splits, loss of paint, etc.
