Virden Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier

Here is another beautiful chandelier, c 1930, from Virden’s Fleuray Line.  The frame is lightweight aluminum with a very realistic aged copper  finish in excellent original condition, very dark with a glint of copper showing around the edges. The fixture retains its art deco chain and the canopy with its lacy ceiling ring. The fixture makes use of a filigree design throughout which is then complimented by the Consolidated glass shades with their “lace curtain window” panels allowing extra light to shine through part of the shades. Shades and fixture have no problems.  Rewired with period style silk wire.
