Markel 3000-line 6-light Slip Shade Chandelier

Straightforward and uncomplicated art deco design in iron. These light fixtures were popular in their day, c 1930, so there are a lot of them and our price reflects that even though we restored all of them. Many old fixtures are still attractive today despite a few paint chips but this line of fixtures does not because the design is so simple. So we have stripped the fixture and applied an iridescent white/silver finish which duplicates the original finish. The color is an iridescent light gray which shows silvery white when it is reflecting light.

The shades are all virtually perfect as is the finish. This type of shade is so easy to install that it doesn’t get much wear.  Another good feature – the shades are easier to replace and are relatively inexpensive.

Rewired, including nifty three-way switch for lighting entire fixture, 3 shades only, or bottom shade only All together, this fixture is almost exactly what it was 90 years ago, ready for a second life.

Measurements are 16″ wide and 32″ high.
