The color of the shade is gorgeous, as you can see. This is how the light fixture looks unlit. When lit, the clear sections look like glass “jewels”. Two bulbs allow for plenty of light. The shade was perfect but the fixture had to be stripped and it is now restored to look exactly as it did originally. It is a soft shade of white. We have protected it from rusting and It should look good for another 75 years. A rare fixture to find intact.
Designed for the lower ceilings of the post WWII home, C 1940, measurements are 11″ wide x 12″ high, rewired with hardware attachment, ready to hang. Excellent condition and strikingly beautiful. Gone to Raleigh, NC.
