xClassic Rose Satin Glass Bowl Pendant

$850.00

The design of this lovely light fixture is deceptively simple, meticulously executed, each element carefully chosen to complete its task. We have a cased glass shade, a large rose satin glass bowl, rose colored glass fired onto milk glass. The deep rose color fades off to glints of sunset yellow on the bottom of the bowl, very much like peachblow. The melon style design adds a little bit of extra interest. The fine brass two-light hanger is also simple in design so as to not detract from the beauty of the shade..
Condition: Perfectly flawless except for a pinhead sized glaze pop, too small to photograph, at the very top edge of the shade, that can happen during manufacturing. Matte finish is devoid of any shiny spots, just a nice soft look and satin feel. Brass has an old mellow patina with no problems, not lacquered. Elegance is the style here – just perfectly lovely and rare, suitable for new  house or old.
Circa 1930’s. Rewired with antique style wiring. Presently 20″ high by 12″ wide. Can be shortened to 18″ or lengthened. Good for an entrance hall or over a dining room table in a new or an old house.  A sophisticated choice.   Gone to Chicago.
