Single Iron Sconce with Shade

Here we have a unique combination of a simple dark slab of iron without decoration supporting a delicately beautiful hand blown raspberry glass shade.   The combination works for us.   No problems to report.  We left some “beauty marks” on the shade holder rather than removing all patina trying to get rid of them (no dents, no splits).  In this case,  they seem to suit the fixture.  

The sconce is cast, made to imitate forged iron.   The shade is very delicate, not for aisle ways.
