Antique Heavy Bronze Single-candle Sconces – Pair

This pair of sconces are solid bronze, tall and beautiful.   They are restored in that the original bobeches were missing and replaced by compatible bobeches, also bronze.  As a result, they are reduced in value but still very decorative.  They have been polished some time in the last few years but are now a beautiful golden brass, stunningly beautiful.

They hang on the wall on a metal strap that stretches across the back of the sconce, a method used in the beginning of electric lighting in this country.  We have a pair of double-candle sconces also.
