Lincoln created the stylized flower design of this fine light fixture. This one, like most of their fixtures, was cast with aluminum as it is strong, light weight and suitable for intricate castings. They were one of the largest makers of slip shade light fixtures during the 1930’s. Many of their fixtures were simply polished cast aluminum. This one is brass plated, not painted, and is in fine condition.
Most slip shade chandeliers set up for 8-foot ceilings require the substitution of a simple pipe for an elaborate central decoration. We hope you can see the fine details of a beautiful design, including the long post especially designed for lower ceilings.
Shades have no blemishes or damage. Our pictures are taken in sunlight to expose any flaws. The sun unfortunately makes the shades take on different tints. They are identical in color and look like the forward shade in each picture. The color goes all the way through the glass, especially important should you get small chips.
All parts are original. Gone to Philadelphia.
