A favorite art deco design from the thirties, this cleverly designed lightweight aluminum light fixture easily supports three heavy glass slip shades. In place of a finial at the bottom of the fixture is the original rotary switch to turn on the light for homes which did not have wall switches. For a 9-foot room over a dining table or a 10-foot room in an entrance way.
This fixture was made in the USA, c. 1933, by J. C. Virden Lighting Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, – of polychromed aluminum and acid washed molded glass. Its condition is very good to excellent, shades original matching. the color goes all the way through the shades.
Measurements are 40″ high x 12″ wide. This fixture has its original, unique chain which can be shortened but not, of course, lengthened.
Professionally rewired, all necessary attachment hardware included, all parts original, ready to install. Gone to New Jersey.
