xVirden Hammered Iron Arts & Crafts Dogshead Fixture

We love quaintly styled iron fixtures from the era when a large part of the country was mad over Gothic and Tudor styling – rough plaster walls, hammered iron, beamed ceilings, oak furniture. It was a livable lifestyle and still is.

This 1930’s fixture is completely original, in excellent condition, and rewired with proper ceiling attachment. There is a dark nickel finish over iron except for the bulb holder which is copper.  The copper has acquired a dark patina matching the iron but can be gently polished if you desire the look.  Fixture measures 8″ x 11″ high.  Gone to Detroit
